AR-15 For Home Defense
« on: October 27, 2020, 01:02:36 AM »
There are several factors why you should try the AR-15 for home defense. Firstly, you need to understand that this gun can be customized to any extent. You can use it to take down multiple targets. Since the weapon has a 20-30 round magazine capacity, you need not worry at all. The main thing is that this firearm is lightweight and highly versatile. When you look into several weapons, you can conclude that the AR-15 is easy to use. It is a fine gun that is suited for beginners.

And they wonder why these guns have a bad rep. As outdoorsman we don’t view guns as “ weapons “ they are tools to “ hunt “ with. As far as home defence goes there are a lot better, cheaper and easier options if that need ever arises.

Perhaps you can come back and fill us in on the benefits of the hunting capabilities of the AR -15.

Exactly as Walleyes says.
And this is Canada, so they are banned by our liberal federal government here now.
Pointless to advertise here in Canada if that is your intent.

An AR-15 is excellent for farm defense.

My cousin, a retired cattle rancher, shot enough coyotes with an AR-15 during calving season to have a full length fur coat made for his wife. That is a lot of coyote pelts since only a small strip of the hide is used in making the coat. The rest is garbage fur sent to China for whereever. That was at a time when an AR-15 could used like an ordinary .22 rifle.

My cousin's daughters liked the AR-15 because of the ergonomics and ease of operation. And these girls liked guns. One daughter still trains for  Olympic women's pistol competition.

And you can drive around the pastures with that AR-15 getting knocked around like a POS. So what if it gets scratched up. Just keep it clean.

If one wants to compare the politically correct looking Ruger Ranch Rifle with an AR-15 I will say one is 1965 International pickup versus a Toyota Tacoma.

As for home defense: Perhaps a shotgun with 9 shot would be better. Be careful: The home defense story is used by Karen and Kyle to ban the gun's.

And remember: The AR-15 and 1500 others are the first. When are they coming after yours? Answer: As soon as possible.

Did this happen to anyone else?
