"HUNT TV" on Wild TV

Just watching a polar bear "hunt".

The guy goes out with some Inuit to a place where a bunch of bears are feeding on a dead whale.  They are shopping for a big bear but only seeing sows and cubs and some smaller males.  One they have to scare off with rubber bullets when it comes too close.

He finally sees a bigger bear a long ways out and moving away "should I try him?" and then he shoots and misses and then shoots beyond the bear a few times trying to get it to come toward them.

Last day of the hunt he shoots one on the whale.  And proceeds to talk about wishing he had not passed on a little bigger bear a few days earlier.

John Hunt died a while back. He is far beyond our judgement or critism.

Now thats just funny, I found myself reading deerman's posts and thinking to myself WTF most of the time....? Now it all makes sense, thanks Dave!!
