Butchered up the Mulie Buck today and found the bullet that helped take him down.
Deer was shot at around 200 ish yards
Bullet Hornady 154 grain SP
2800 FPS muzzle

Bullet hit the deer at the last rib on one side, traveled full length of the deer, hit the front most rib, went through the upper leg and came to rest in the skin just in front of the opposite shoulder.

started at 154 grains
retained weight 117.6 grains

Looks good , I like recovering the odd bullet.  None this year though!!  Last year pulled a .284 cal 139 gr Gmx from a buddy's moose.  It looked pretty good and like most mono's  retained 98% of its weight. 
I'm from the country , and I like it that way!!!
