Well you guys can call me a dummy or whatever and I'm good with that..

So last Friday I was installing a new battery in the boat and I had a little boo boo..

I had the wrench in my left hand and was tightening the positive cable.Then the backside of my wedding ring contacted the negative post.

Well HOLY HELL did my ring spark and arc and get hot really QUICK.

It was so hot that I burned my finger tips on my right hand when I was trying to take it off. It burned me pretty good.

Ring got damaged but is sent away for repairs..

So here's a couple of pics and be careful out there guys and don't let this happen to you.Hurt like hell..

Crappy luck guess gold transfers energy fast.

I was sitting around a campfire as a young man with 20 or so other people big roaring fire. Buddy had his boots on the edge of the fire warming them up with his feet inside. Someone pointed out hey your boots is smoking he reached down and grabed the sole of the boot with liquid hot robber dripping off his hand. Never really seen a grown man scream before...

Ugggh that sucks Sonny heal up. I don't wearing my wedding ring when working, hunting or fishing my old man lost his ring finger when he fell and his ring caught on a hook stretched so bad they had to cut it off.

I'm gonna show this my my guys in the shop we do alot of 12 volt wiring on batteries in trailers.

One week later and it's not looking good.

Doc is sending me to the U of A burn unit on Monday.

Well I went to the burn unit this morning and it's a third degree burn,no surprise there.

Doc said I need to have a skin graft or I might loose all function of my finger.

We don't want that.

On the bright side I'm having surgery on Wednesday,that was quick. So I'll let you guys know how I make out.
