Spam bots have been running amok.
Seriously, hundreds of bogus accounts.
Paul just put in a recaptcha modification to the site on registration.
Should help.

Even through work here the IT guys are having a he$$ of a time with things, and we are a huge company with a large IT department. It must be a new STRAIN of beetle bots. :)

That's why I'm here, my wife banned me from posting anything(or talking ) to her anymore. Said as I got older, she was getting to many reports from me on how bad the worlds getting. So I guess we have each other boys, well until this site start feeling the same way my wife does anyway.

You guys saw about 1% of the bots and their spam before we deleted it.
We deleted the bulk of the bot users (100 or more) before they even got to their spam routines.
39 pages deep of moderation logs!

With the measures that Paul has put in now, we are seeing much less.

Hell of a world, bots after me on the computer, and Zombies at my door. Then theirs that real scary Shinny Pony coming at me from at all sides. Thanks Mod's for what you do.
