Alberta Gold panning

hey  a old guy I met showed  me some places that he panned a fair bit of gold around Rockey . Has anyone had any luck. trying to find a place to buy some equipment  and a dvd on how to do it

Campers Village used to sell pans. My helper at work used to go all the time when he lived in BC, I'll see if he has any tips and post them later tomorrow.

Always been interested in panning. Did he find nuggets or just flakes?

He was telling me that they got lucky a couple of years and panned just over an ounce a couple of years ago, that was two guys over a long weekend. But they usually ended up with a lot less than that. Never asked him if they were getting nuggets or flakes.
