Keep saying, a united center party doesn't guarantee a win. Despite no one admitting to voting dip, a lot of people did; yes there was a split vote between the pcs and WR but most ridings that WR took the pcs weren't as much of a threat as the dip voters. The new party cannot be complacent and will have to be prepared to fight the left wing media at every turn if they want to win.
IMPO the new party has to realize that many dip voter are idealists who live in a fantasy world where facts and reality mean absolutely nothing. That, again in MPO is how the dips got elected.
