Any Big Plans For The Coming Summer.
« on: April 21, 2018, 08:05:36 AM »
Anybody got any big plans for this summer season, any big trips coming off the bucket list maybe, no big yard builds coming up ?

We are planning on a low key summer, going to take a year off of going to the coast, momma needs a breather. Maybe the boys and I will make a fast trip out but I don't think so. We plan on sticking close to home and doing some local camping, maybe venture out into some close Sask lakes and rent a cabin for a couple nights here and there, we'll see but we definitely want to get some use out of the trailer this season.

No big yard plans just keep her green and keep the weeds out of the garden and flowers.

Hopefully be able to get two big trips in this summer.  New job is shift work and they set the schedules up really nice for utilizing vacation time.  4 weeks to use up and haven't booked anything yet but I sure plan to.
Need to replace some fence in the backyard and add a bigger gate wide enough to drive through.  Wouldn't mind building another shed as well but before any of that happens probably going to have to get rid of some poplars that are getting to big and old for our lot.  Suckering pretty bad to.  Gonna be a busy summer I think.

We will do our annual trip with the horses to the Ya Ha. But our new retirement place needs to be developed a bit (garden, deck, fencing,) so we are really looking forward to just spending time at home this year. Also our first grand child will be coming in mid summer and of course we want to be around for that. We may do a trip up to the Yukon, then back around the loop in June for a week .We are playing that by ear for now.
