I got into the NFL when the NHL went on strike. Before that,I never really paid attention to it. My team is the Patriots. I find that the style of play they incorporate and work ethic to be higher than most others. Guys like Welker are,and a few years ago Bruschi, and Vrabel were a lot of fun to watch. Brady hooking up with Moss on 50 yard+plays in a consistent manner made other teams look sub par. Players like T.O. and Chad Johnson (OchoCinco??) may annoy some fans but I find them entertaining.

I hope that the NFL has a full season. It wouldn't be Sunday without a few NFL games and eating some "NFL Natchos!"
Pain is just weakness leaving the body.

Now there's the real difference between the CFL and the NFL. The fans in the States are absolutely off the deep end fanatics.

Waxy you're probably right, thinking back at the couple games I've been too it is amazing how big, strong and fast the players are down there. I guess I just keep hoping for something big for the CFL.  I always thought that both leagues would benefit by trading fields. Might just be the purple skied world I live in though.

i cant watch the nfl.  the talent level is higher for sure, but the defences just have too much advantage.  if they adopted the canadian sized field it would be worth watching.  could you imagine the plays that might happen from guys like owens and johnson with a 20 yard end zone to find some space?

id never trade it for the cfl no matter what though.  its the only league around that we can truly call ours. it made me sick to live through the us expansion era.

the main reason i watch nfl is its more football. another team to cheer for another bunch of rivals to beak and more heartstopping moments yea the game is played much diffrent and ya the talent difference is substantial but watching micheal vick damn near having more rushing yards then their running back is pronominal !!!!!! having a receiver thats 150 lbs and 3 inchs shorter than me be the best returner in the nfl and a 2nd top receiver in the present nfl drives me nuts! the skill that comes out of the eagles is crazy!!! their entire team is under par in both size and experience and still makes it to play offs makes huge plays and has a hell of a story to tell in the end :)
