Pretty tough boss lol.. Not that I care that much about a bear either way but funny he would get suspended.. Might be a bit more history with the guy than what is known here.

This may sound harsh but The BC government probably would rather spend their resources on something besides rehabilitating orphaned cubs in areas with high concentrations of black bears. I am sure I couldn't whack the cute little buggers either though.

That said, not sure a suspension would be warranted for not following that rule.  Like walleyes said, there may be more history than the article is telling.
