Was wondering if anyone is planning any backpacking camping trips for this summer? And if so where abouts are you heading?
The family and I are gunna try and do a couple trips so just looking for ideas and see where people like to go.

Yup, I have been largely housebound for over a year due to wife's medical issues and I am a guy who used to spend 165+ days every year in the remote BC bush. sometimes for 3 months without a break. So, I am going nutso wanting to get back to the West Kootenays, in particular and do some 4-5 day solo backpacks and some alpine lake fishing.

Then, if we get out RM Goat draws as we probably will, I want to scout the area I told a good buddy to try for as I know it and know there are "booner" goats there....and freakin' Devil's Club 6 ft. tall.........

Darcy ,not sure how extreme of hiking you ,Mrs Sheepguide and the boys want to do but Allstones Lake is a good starter hike. I took my youngest when he was about 10. We caught a few Brookies out of the lake as well. I also had him and his brother to landslide when the youngest was about 12-13. man i was proud of him for doing so well,
