Work had me North of Mundare and found this fellow right at the approach I had to turn into. The farmer I met said there are lots around. Must be nocturnal as work has me all over the rural countrysides and have never seen one during the day. Heard rumors they are around, I guess it's true that they do exist in N Ab.

It must of stopped at Stanychy's sausage for some lips and assholes and is heading north to Smokey Lake for the next feed. :)
Then, maybe off to Beaver River for some crayfish. Hopefully.

Actually racoons in Alberta is not a funny issue. Talk to the folks in southern Alberta who are dealing with them. Also, I heard they can do some pretty serious damage on a person's dog.

Thanks Sooner.

My brother down in Medicine Hat hat one spend the winter in his boat a couple years back, what an unbelievable mess it made. Piles of shit all over the place, wiring chewed, seats chewed, he damn near burned the boat. After cleaning and disinfecting it with strong chemicals he had to take it into a shop and have all the wiring redone. It wasn’t a funny experience at all.

Apparently they can wreck a roof.  What do they do? Rip the shingles off?

So a squirrel x100 as far a damage they can do. Dad had a squirrel living in his old Argo(hadnt used it in a few years). Every square inch was packed full of acorns and such. Chewed passage ways through the thick plastic. 4 large garbage cans of crap to clean out his mess.

What is even worse there are idiots that feed those tree rats. Apparently, those flea infested disease carrying vermin are cute to certain people.
