Big whitetail run over on Stoney Trail
« on: August 04, 2011, 10:08:02 AM »
One of my customers said he saw a huge whitetail hit on Stoney Trail this morning, he figures it was B&C I know there was some talk on Alberta Outdoorsmen about some big buck running around there with hard antlers year round, my customer couldn't say if it was in velvet or not as he went by too quick to really tell but he said it was massive.

i saw pics of that buck with antlers in early may.  im guessing he justs sheds late.....odd how zero pics have been taken of him lately. if he has antlers year round and so many people saw him then, why not now?   id be willing to lay money that the deer you heard about is a different buck.  any chance some pics are coming?
opinions are like sphincters......everyone has one, and they all stink!

Stoney is now where near where that buck is, so i must be one of those other giants out to the west.

^^If I still lived where that buck is, i'd have pics for ya. they used feed in by back yard. Blackmamba Might have some, runs his dog daily up there.

The guy didn't get pics, he kind of noticed at the last minute as he was flying by. He is an avid hunter though and knows what a big whitetail looks like, unlike my mom who tells me about huge bucks on her alfalfa, then I go there and sitting in the house and she comes from her craft room "ooh there's a huge buck by the dugout son!!" and I look out the window to see a 120 class 4 x 4 lol

^^ I believe it Paul, there's some monsters that lurk around there.....and occasionally they make the stuiped mistake of wondering a couple Km NW and get thumped by an arrow in 212.
