Well I may be "stupid" to you, but I know I'm not alone in believing the US blew up their own WTC and likely had a lot more knowledge or involvement with yesterdays events. Events like these are never face value, and always have some purpose. End result being money, power...oil. Whatever. Call it garbage. I call a war on Weapons of Mass destruction garbage.

Difference between you and me is I don't care if you think I'm stupid or not. That's the beauty about opinions. We're all different and see things VERY differently. This board is to express that is it not? If we all thought the same things that would make for some pretty boring convo don't ya think?!

I think stupid is believing everything you see on tv and believe it for face value!!!!

Well I won't call you stupid huntress cause I don't believe you are,, just extremely gullible if you believe all that nonsense.    Now you may not believe all you see on tv but you obviously believe all you read on the Internet.

Walleyes after having two uncles that were career members of britains special air service and hearing about the things they were involved in that never happened I don't believe many of the lies the governments of the world tell. If you pay attention to guys like Alex jones and others, majority of the things they are talking about are available on government web sites and they usually have links posted. I don't believe every conspiracy theory I read but I do know a few things that are fact.
Majority of us work to make rich people richer and don't get ahead.
The government works for us, wich is a fact that 90% of people have forgot.
The governments are encroaching on more and more of our freedoms by the day, am I the only one that finds having legislation about low flow toilets a little overboard.
But because most people are sheep and refuse to open there eyes or there ears or minds to the possibility that things may not be exactly what they seem, we will live in a progressively worsening nanny state until the govt will tell you when to wipe your bum. If you don't believe me take a trip to the uk some time.
Sorry I don't ice fish or hunt rabbits, but I did stay at a Holliday in express last night.

Your preaching to the preacher on some of what you say rob make no mistake.. But I also don't buy into every conspiracy theory that comes along either.. This world is a complex place and it takes more than what meets the eye to run it,, more than what the average person is capable of accepting or just to ignorant I guess, and I don't mean that in a condensing way.

In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.

Many of the conspiracy theories of late seem, well, foolish, but with the freedom of info the internet brings I think part of it is simply ALL of the facts are not let known.  With information easily available to all who care to look telling part of the story doesn't cut it, thus the suspicion.  I've done what research I can on a few things and very simply, they don't add up.
Do I believe grandiose schemes by elected politicians?  On certain things, especially those involving great amounts of money, yes;  sort of like the powerlines being strung up carte blanche across alberta with us paying the bills.  But don't worry, those who will own the lines once they're built will tell us what we owe them when they say they're done.  By the time the sheep pay attention our power bills will be 300% of what they are now.  We can take solace in knowing a handful of people who made a million last year will make a million and one next year.
For the most part though, no.  Most politicians, I believe do what they feel is right, even though I disagree with many of their goals, and the reasons for them.  Quite frankly, many politicians are not that bright.  Those in gov't service are fond of saying, "the cream rises to the top".  My answer to that is, "so does poop".

"The gov't", that great beast that exists only to feed itself, meaning the vast number of employees, busy building their own personal empire's with no accountability and fostering their own personal goals without the temperance of democracy, or in all too many cases not even a sliver of sense, well that's a different story.  That beast is busily destroying our freedoms and I do fear the outcome as well as the motive's, not to mention the totalitarian way it's being done.

As to the bombing, no matter who did it, it was done to further an agenda of some kind.  Until/unless all the facts are made public there will be doubt, and well there should be.  A questioning public is all that keeps gov't accountable.

At first the news said 7 bombs of which 2 were fired.  The next day it was 2 and the news said it, "could have been one person".  No one person could have laid 7 bombs unnoticed.  Last night the news stated that pressure cooker's were used to house them.  No one's carrying around a pressure cooker under their jacket;  I don't believe for a second it was the work of one man.  For the sake of the American people I hope the Whole Truth is made known.

Its funny, you think I'm gullible, and I think you're gullible. I don't believe anything for face value I see anywhere (net, tv, radio). As corporate media is just that. News is allowed to report that they are told. Journalists and networks get muzzled and aren't allowed to report things as they see it in most cases.

When I grew up I was raised to never to stop questioning. Questioning authority, governments, policies, people. The day we stop asking questions is the day we get lazy. My family has lived in the Middle East for 15+ years flying planes for the military and commercially. My family is military background, I've travelled the world, lived coast to coast and north and south. Lived in the US, and I make my opinions based on what I see. And what I'm being told by "media" is vastly conflicting to what I've actually seen. And when you talk to Canadians who have lived and worked in Afghanistan for 18 years and they tell you what the US has done and what they have been told to say, then you can make your own opinions.

I will stick to being a dumb redneck hillbilly girl and keep my political views to myself. If you're all happy keepig your heads in the sand and believe your gov'ts give a rats arse about any of us, or that the police are gonna help you and the military is gonna save you, then whatever helps you sleep at night.

My heart goes to those who were affected by the attack, be it domestic, foreign or inside its still tradgedy and very sad. Regardless of what any of us think the cause and effect was and will be, we can still send our love and support to them.

I'm not sorry for being the crazy conspiracy theorist, but that's just how I see it. And y'all are entitled to your beliefs and I won't think less of you for not thinking the way I do. I really don't care what you think, you're entitled to your opinions. Because what any of us thinks doesn't change a damn thing!  People are still dead, and someone's still to blame. And it sure as shit wasn't just one person. Ever seen Arlington Road the movie???? Again, whatever helps you sleep at night lol :)

Sorry to those of you think its "garbage" and that "you can't fix stupid"

I think it is great that people don't take everything at face value and ask questions in their own minds and don't just follow the status quo.
I have trained myself to do the same.  Especially in this day and age, where the media and authorities can totally misrepresent the truth, it is so important not be misled by these people.

I won't speculate on who is responsible for this sick maiming and killing other than whoever it was is a pathetic and sick individual or individuals.

Keep questioning Huntress, an informed and inquisitive public is necessary for democracy to work.  That's why the first thing dictator's do is stop people's ability to question their actions or object in any way.  That's why assaults to our freedoms are so troubling.  Moreso as so very many continually push for more restrictions, more laws, more enforcements yet do not question why existing laws which are much more than sufficient are not enforced;  rather used to harass the law abiding.  The former increases bureaucracy, the latter accomplishes the desired result.  Political correctness is truly the new face of tyranny.

The older I become the more I come to the conclusion that nearly everything nowdays is a con of some kind, done not for the reason portrayed.  A jaded view, I know, but one that is usually proven right.
What's that old Polish saying?  "Too soon old, too late smart".

Well when corporate lobbyists are the ones swaying and buying our laws and legislation, and corporations have more power than countries anymore, it really creates an environment of distrust on a deep level. Rules, laws and regs are written for someone's financial gain, not for the best interests of the people.

And I agree, whoever did this is a sick twisted fart....

CNN just announced an arrest has been made.  Official briefing at 5:00 eastern.

They've since recanted that.

This morning police have shot and killed one of the bombing suspects and are closing in on the other one.
Police has lower tolerance since the 911.
