There have been so many depressing events in the last year ,the political climate , the job scene
the US built boat price I was thinking about , thru the roof . Now this ..

very sad indeed.  At least the majority of the players on the teams making the playoffs will be canadians.  The economic climate for the canadian based teams will continue to slide as i believe i heard that each drop in per 1 cent in exchange rate costs the Canadian teams about $300,000.  This recent slide in the loonie will mean even tougher times for the canadian based teams.

It is sad but it's been happening for years now. Not only is the game headed south it's not even the game we grew up with. Even the game itself is Americanized. I was looking through a book the other day in Walmart I forget the title exactly something about hockey's most feared enforcers. It almost brought a tear to my eye reading through it and looking at the old boys and thinking back to my childhood and watching them boys play.. The game is just not what it once was.

Personally I haven't been into hockey for the last 15 years,, there's just nothing to get excited about anymore. It's all about the CFL for us,, a true Canadian game.
