So the young fellow that works for me borrowed one of my trailers a few weeks ago to move. Loads up the night before, comes out the next morning and his truck and the trailer are gone. So two weeks now and I get a notice in the mail that my trailer has been ticketed and towed to the police compound, better come and get it before the end of the month or off it goes to auction. I head down to pick it up and the nice lady says, that will be $365.00 for parking fines? I said well the trailer was reported stolen two weeks ago. She say ,oh that's to bad, that will be $365.00 or off it goes to auction.  How does that work? my trailer was stolen, reported to police, and then when it shows up I need to pay to get it out of the City Police compound. I think I'm to old for how the world works these days.

Maybe your insurance comany would refund you the money ??

Yeah that is retarded... the whole system is stupid.  Drives me crazy how we pay taxes to run the police service and for them to protect us.  Then when they FAIL in EPIC measure because so many crooks are running around stealing stuff they just charge the good guys to get their stuff back?   What about the old days when they used to hang em up high in a tree.  We wouldn't have to worry as much about stolen property if we still had that happening in the streets.   Maybe if the law actually protected honest law abiding citizens we would have a good country.  All this country does is protect the rights of criminals invading and stealing our property so they don't get hurt when they're trying to do it and so they get out back on the street as soon as possible to keep doing it.

The gestapo always go for the low hanging fruit, when they are not racing each other to Timmie's for the choice seat!!!  They know only too well that the thief, even if caught and convicted will never pay, so they go after the honest citizen who they WILL pay.  What a bassakward society we have become, thanks to the many years of lieberal governance.
