Computer question??

Recently I bought a new laptop to take up to Fort Mac and the friggin' thing is acting weird.

It's just an el cheapo Acer and here's the problem.

At home on our wifi it works great but when I go north and use their wifi I can't get this site to come up.

It keeps telling me that this site is unavailable. Funny thing is I can't get this site (Albertasportsman) on my iPhone either unless I turn wifi off.

I have no idea what the problem could be but it's pissing me off.

Thoughts?

Could be either the wifi or your currently installed antivirus pegs any site involving guns as ferbodden?

I've heard of this, but not much on computers.  I just tell son my magic box isn't working and he makes it work.   :-\

Well I brought my wifes laptop up and it works. :)

So it has to be something with that new Acer laptop.There's a guy in town and I'll get him to look at it,might have a bug in it or something.

btw.... I passed on that rifle.The bore was really dark and almost no rifleing left in it,plus buddy wouldn't come down from his asking price.

So you have your Mrs. computer. :)

Time to have some fun. :)

Create a new file on the desktop called Sonny's Porn File. :o

In the file put pictures of your favourite guns. Maybe guns for Sonny's upcoming birthday this year? :)

Kind though of that today looking over a cut block. Oh well there will be others, no point buying other people's  junk. I'll keep my eyes open for you sonny.
