Cablella's is a dangerous place to go into lol..

Went in for a quick look and came out a few hundred short lol..

My new toys, a couple Rapala, North Coast, mooching reels. They feel smooth wont be like my Islander but they say they are darn close, a real heck of a scream to them on the out spool. Should sound sweet with a hog Chinook on the end.

Actually not bad,, if you consider Islanders run around $600.00 these are $250.00.. Like I say they ain't no Islander but they have had good reviews from the boys out west.. They are a decent knock off.

My dad runs these on his boat and loves them you won't be disappointed. Well someone may be if they don't get their hand out of the way when that big spring turns to get away from the boat!!! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( Best part of the trip watching my brother in law fight a fish for the first time on a mooching reel. WHAP WHAP WHAP

I know what your saying about the funny Justin but I'll tell yah it happened to my older sister a couple years back. She came out and fished with us out of Sooke for a coupe days. We got on a nice nook and I handed the rod over to her to take over, she was not familiar with these reels and was holding it tight, that big old fish did a run next to the boat and whap, whap  she took a few good ones to the hand. Let me tell you a full grown women couldn't take it, she broke out in tears and for good reason, it damn near broke her fingers. She had to give the rod away, she ended up not being able to use her hand for a couple days,, it was nasty. Yah it's funny when it happens to one of the boys but it was not nice that day, I felt darn bad for my sis..
