Got out for a while this am. Started with a female challenge howl and moved on to jackrabbit distress. In short time, had one come in on the trot. 100 yd shot and lights out.

This female is one of the heaviest I have taken. I'm going to have to weigh it for curiousity sake. Incidentally, they are starting to breed. For those of us out calling, the challenge howls will start to be more effective.



Here's a view of that stand. You can see the dead coyote laying out in the alfalfa.

The boy and I were out and about yesterday and He smoked 2 of them. One pretty awesome shot, bout 150 yard shot as it was trotting away popped it right in the head.
