I knew they would never free that buck with the axe. It's my opinion hitting the antler with the axe only stressed the deer out more. Then again it was too risky to get in there with the saw. I was surprized how much energy that buck still had after being freed.

What men will go through for those ladies!  lol

I'd be suprised if he lived though after going through all that stress.

Yeah wacking the antlers with an axe has to be stressful for sure

Can we say "major" headache?

I think a rope around the antlers (dead deer) tied to the boat would have kept the live deer's head above water and then they could have used the saw to free them.

But still glad they freed the buck tho.
