dogs are amazing
« on: March 06, 2013, 10:19:24 PM »
So I have an older wire hair jack russell he's a great dog even picks upland birds he's 10 now anyway he's always had ear problem like some kind of fungus or rash and I have had to use ear drops on him often. Anyway my wife brings home this chih tzu pup and he's a little weirdo likes to put his poop in his mouth. Anyway my old terrier is sort of a loner but he starts to tolerate this little dog and they get along other than around the terriers dish they even sleep together now. That little dog for some reason started licking my terrier ears and the terrier let's him and he gets right in there and you know what my terriers ears haven't looked that healthy in years and no lie they look perfect something in that little dogs TLC is treating my dogs ears.

I'd read something similar to this a few years ago. Your post reminded me of it:

Sounds like a yeast infection. Usually has to do with food or treats. It can also show up in the claws.
At least the ear infection part anyway sometimes the poo eating can also be attributed to food as well.
