List of accused poachers
All of the below accused are scheduled to appear at the Edson Provincial Courthouse on August 5, 2014.
1. Derek Ronald BROWN - 1992/03/19 (Adult)
Cowley, Alberta
• 7 Counts - “did hunt wildlife without a licence, contrary to section 24(1) of the Wildlife Act.”
• 1 Count - “did hunt wildlife, during a closed season, contrary to Section 25(1) of the Wildlife Act.”
• 8 Counts - “did hunt in a manner that endangers other persons, or without due regard for the safety of other persons, contrary to Section 27(1) of the Wildlife Act.”
• 8 Counts - “did hunt wildlife, during the period commencing at ½ hour after sunset and ending ½ hour before sunrise of the following day, contrary to Section 28 of the Wildlife Act.”
• 1 Count -“did hunt wildlife while the person’s ability to hunt is impaired by alcohol, contrary to Section 30 of the Wildlife Act.”
• 8 Counts - “did use, or have in the person’s possession, for the purpose of hunting wildlife, anything described in Item 1 of the Schedule, to wit: a light, contrary to Section 32(1) of the Wildlife Act.”
• 2 Counts - “did use a vehicle to injure or kill wildlife, contrary to Section 33(1)(b) of the Wildlife Act.”
• 6 Counts - “did discharge a weapon from a vehicle, contrary to Section 33(1)(c) of the Wildlife Act.”
• 1 Count - “did hunt wildlife on occupied land, without the consent of the owner or occupant of it, contrary to Section 38(2) of the Wildlife Act.”
• 6 Counts - “did abandon flesh of a big game animal, contrary to Section 41(1) of the Wildlife Act.”
• 1 Count - “did abandon the skin of a fur-bearing animal contrary to Section 41(2) of the Wildlife Act.”
• 4 Counts - “did possess wildlife contrary to Section 55(1) of the Wildlife Act.”

2. Colton Jesse CAMPBELL - 1993/04/13 (Adult)
Edson, Alberta
• 7 Counts - “did hunt wildlife without a licence, contrary to section 24(1) of the Wildlife Act.”

Geez,, quite the list of offences, idiots. One would think and hope they will never hunt again.q

Hard to imagine people with no respect for anything.  Glad they got caught and hope the punishment is severe;  not a slap on the wrist.
