Election 2021.
« on: August 27, 2021, 03:15:45 PM »
Predictions, desires, what are they people.

I have to admit I was a strong O’Toole supporter during his campaign for leadership, even sent him some cash. But I have to admit he has disappointed with his about face on some issues. With that said he has come out with a decent platform for the election. Yes a little heavy on the Quebec side I know but we will see. He is looking strong I’ll say that and I’m pretty sure idiot child can kiss his majority good bye at the least. I’m surprised that even in the MSM O’Toole is getting some decent positive coverage which is a switch.

Fingers crossed.
So far O'Toole has run a strong campaign and that is being reflected in the polls.
O'Toole may be a Liberal lite, but anything is better than the Turd.

O'Toole just needs to keep doing what he is doing. Every time they tried the anti abortion stuff that booged down Scheer, he is quick and clear on his stance. Gives them no room to let it fester with the public and the media. They tried both the abortion and private health care tag in the first week. I think Turdo is running scared.

Jugghead is gaining ground so that will hurt Tudrdo too and these protests that are following his rallies and getting them shut down make me smile.

It looks like there is a swell of disgust for him calling this election, hope it translates into some serious losses for the libs on election day.

One can hope O'toole can stay on this upswing and not make a deathblow blunder and kick Turdo's ass to the curb once and for all. How sweet would that be if we get to watch him lose his minority and then see the party boot him to the curb. God help Canada after all he has done and he still gets a majority.

OMG, the Media is in full brainwashing mode now with this election on.  Sickening what they have become.   :(
CBC and Global being the very worst of course, they are the Unifor-Jerry Diaz puppets and Trudeau $$$ beneficiaries.
Watch them stump very hard for the Turd now that he is in trouble.

Every single story, they are telling us how to interpret/think/act/feel about everything.  They even dictate the narrative, very few stories about actual events anymore.
Most stories they bring in their "expert" (brainwasher) for you since they don't want you to form your own opinion.
Look at the crap they are making the election about:  Covid/Climate Change/Indigenous Graves/LGBTXYZ/etc.  Who bloody cares, how about Debt/Taxes/Freedom/Smaller Government/Economy.
The media needs a full stop correction, complete tax payer defunding!

Who’s calling it boys.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and call it a Conservative minority.

Haha, I am not setting myself up for disappointment.  I have no faith in eastern Canadians.....
I can only hope you are correct, Walleyes.
If I had to guess, maybe little change from before.

Quite a few polls showing the PPC with enough votes taken from the Cons to give the vote to the Libs.

Well all I can say is the idiot didn’t get his majority, not much else to take away from it.

Another sad morning after. Again the east block decides the west's fate. I am getting real tired of this happening since I started voting 30 some years ago. But as mentioned, thank god it wasn't a solid majority.

Yes,, I don’t know. More and more each election it’s becoming more apparent we only have one choice left for us in the west.

O'Toole review by Con caucus now on.
He is claiming he has support to stay on.

That party better learn a lesson and cut him loose, but they will likely shoot themselves in the foot yet again.
His rhetoric now after the election is we/us/big family/etc must review and accept the election loss.
During the campaign, it was all him.  Me the leader calling the shots and the left turn policy and the flip-flops.
I call him Trudeau light.

So with some of the results of the municipal elections we can see the Left’s principle of bringing in immigrants by the train load is paying off handsomely for them isn’t it.

The city of Calgary elects a mayor that wants to see an end to oil and gas and is declaring a climate emergency. Can someone please explain what the heck is happening here.

No difference in Redmonton. 37% turnout and a ex liberal minister gets a landslide win. Ugggh. At least we have 8 women on council now. We all know how well women can get along in the work place.... ;D
