Ready for a really "feel good" story.... ;D
And believe it or not I am going to link a CNN story, ya CNN, haha, from me!  ;)
It gives me a such a satisfying feeling to see the socialist media eat their own.
What next, CBC telling the truth, haha, now I am dreaming.

That has yet to happen Axe ,but hope reigns eternal .

Depending on your  political persuasion, the new CCP chief could get you
Excited ...
I'm not sure he could be the PM , he is not weird enough and a great orator
No stammering , no stuttering , no Hming , and his frog is almost impeccable ...
The fact that the Black candidate  Ms. Lewis garnered the most points / votes
in Alberta was a little surprising .....yes Dear has assured me for awhile that
the Cowboys were no longer the dominant political force in Ab. But likely
people of colour , A few hours in south Calgary might convince you of that .

Trudeau looking more like a Homeless person every day , Hopefully that is a self
   full filling prophecy...

I participated in the leadership vote for the first time. I think we had much better candidates than the last vote. While he was not my first choice, he won and I am behind him all the way. I feel we now have a actual good guy at the head of the party who will hold the Turd to account. Hope he don't start stepping in cow pies and bring himself down.

I didn't mind Scheer but he was a wimp when it came to politics.

The wife and I were behind O’Toole. At this time he is the best for the job. Lots of good ideas in his platform let’s just hop she’s the guy to over turn idiot child.

Ya, and you can bet the CBC and Global will be laying those cow pies down ahead of him.  All the gay rights/abortion/religion/anti-racism/immigration/climate-change cow pies they can imagine, but they will be mum on the Turd's debt load and dismal economic plans.  Same old, hope O'Toole has a strategy to combat the Liberal media.  If it were me, I would reply to any question they ask me with an economic plan answer.  Completely ignore their question traps.  If they complain, just tell them the Turd never answers a direct question, why should he.

And..........right on queue!  CBC strikes again. :o
Here is the first hit piece on Erin O'Toole by the CBC with their star Justin Trudeau lover Aaron Wherry.
Real rich drive by shots at Derek Sloan in an effort to throw O'Toole under the bus before it even gets rolling.
He ticked off all the boxes, these CBC hacks are even beginning to lack imagination with their hit pieces, stuck record.

Erin, chose your responses carefully.  Let me suggest an appropriate well thought out and articulated response:  "F@ck Off CBC".

I did like Scheer's last interview with the cbc before the leadership vote, where he tells the lady he wished the gov funded station would be more focused on Canadian content rather than what trump and the U.S. is doing. That was good to see.

So, are you still for Canada staying together and hoping for a CPC win with O'Toole?
Haha suckers in Alberta, he says.
Didn't take him long to plant his lips firmly on Quebec's ass.   >:(

https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/o-toole-says-energy-east-not-on-the-table-after-talking-pipelines-with-legault-1.5104152

O’Toole said while he acknowledges the Energy East pipeline is "not on the table" his priority as prime minister would be to ensure pipeline projects in the West continue to ignite Canada’s economy as a whole.

"There are projects that will help us get a better price for Canadian resources, this is a resource that is important to our national interest. We better get the best world price we can as we’re recovering. So we had a good, frank discussion," said O’Toole on Monday in a press conference with reporters in Montreal.

This born in Quebec asshole won't be getting my vote.  I have realized that the CPC is a waste of time, hardly even a short term solution to Trudeau.
Separation is the only way.  Accuse me of splitting the vote and not being realistic and possibly helping empower the Turd.  Whatever.....
Fact is our vote doesn't even matter in this Canada and really never has.  I won't be the delusional sheep and cheer for this crazy concept of a wonderful coast-coast-coast Canada.  Canada is broken and has been for a long time, time to face reality.  If you vote for a Federalist party (CPC, Liberal, NDP), you might as well stop by the drug store on the way home and buy a case lube as you are going to continue to get it up the rear end like we have since Confederation.

Separation not a practical option many say, and say we are crazy.  Keep your head sand then, I say to them.  There are options and solutions, time to start exploring them.  BS like this from the likes of O'Toole just pisses me of even more.  Quebec gets to say no to energy development, but gets the profits, and gets to shit on us?  Really?  That is what he just said.

Rant over, feels better....  ;)  I don't like this slime ball Quebecer O'Toole, never have. Fake conservative.

Just another way to split the vote and get the NDP in again, real fricken smart.

Separation is never going to happen not in 5 life times so why waste the money, time and vote. If it hasn’t happened for Quebec after all these years it sure as heck will never happen for Alberta.

I think you don't get it.  As a matter of fact I know you don't get it based on that comment about the NDP.   I am talking Federal Parties like I stated above.  It is the Provincial where we had the bloody NDP.
And Federally, do you really believe that the Alberta vote has ever mattered and there is no vote splitting that has ever helped a Federal Liberal or ever will be.  Federal elections are over by the time the west votes.
Voting in Quebec Federally for their separatist party sure as hell has been good for them.  The Feds are scared of separatist parties and suck up to them to play nice.

Like I said and I will stick to it.  Keep voting CPC Federally and bend over and take it, the deck is stacked against you, now more than it ever has been.  Real friggin smart IMO too.
Walleyes, federally, playing on the CPC team is like taking a pen knife knife to a gun fight and with the leaders they pick about as sharp as one as well.
"Wexit Canada" aka "Maverick" is a Federal party just like the Quebec Block is.

BTW, BREXIT won too and did something about their situation being smothered by bloody socialists.

In this place they call Canada now, the majority east is socialist looking for a handout and they will always vote that way.  If you want to be part of that, then keep voting for a federalist party like the CPC.  They have to suck the east's ass to ever have a chance of being elected, just like O'Toole is doing now.  At least the Bloc or the "Maverick" have an option and an end game that is not stuck on sucking the socialist teat.  I hate to say this, but I actually admire the guts of some Quebecers that vote Bloc.  At least they are taking a stand.  Will Albertans have these same guts; not likely based on the fear and stubbornness that I see in them.

Read the article:
FEDERAL

Wexit Canada, the federal party created to advocate for western separatism, is undergoing a makeover. And it’s taking the highway to the danger zone to do it with a new name:

The Maverick Party.
https://www.huffingtonpost.ca/entry/wexit-party-maverick-party-name_ca_5f6507bec5b6de79b6749016
Interim leader Jay Hill confirmed the party registered its new name with elections Canada Thursday. In messaging to members, leader Hill said the name change is meant to give the party its own identity separate from other similarly named movements like Brexit.

I do have to admit that I did not read the article and just assumed it was speaking provincially so my apologies there.

You are correct that being a federal party this may have some merit, we will see.

After Trudeau's throne speech next week and Jugmeat's support, this country will be officially broke anyway.... ;)
The end of this nonsense is very near.
It will kind of like starting from scratch all over again anyway.
