If that is the case, that may not hold well for us, as it could sit for years until they tap into it or need it. I don't think our leaders have the power or the will to look for other markets.  We could be a Mexico by then.

Very interesting article.

Makes one wonder why Alberta is even part of Canada.

The news is just getting better and better with this hag in power. And not just this hag but the last hag we had in as well. She was no Conservative she was as much a socialist as this moron is,, just flew a Conservative flag is all.

Oh, just wait, this is nothing.  Once they get down to serious rainbow chasing and throwing money away at windmills/solar panels that won't produce any meaningful amount of energy(compared to coal/hydro we're told they will somehow magically replace) not only will the taxes go up..........waaay up, but as an added bonus you can look at your current power bill and know it will be increasing by as much as 400% before the next election.  (not to mention all the new hires for, "panels" they mention forming daily to tell them they're right)

What makes it all even more ludicrous is the lifespan of the new religion is approaching it's end.  More and more it's getting harder to justify as reality disproves the claims.  Case in point:  http://www.financialpost.com/m/wp/news/blog.html?b=business.financialpost.com/fp-comment/lawrence-solomon-why-it-looks-like-game-over-for-global-warming&pubdate=2016-04-15
10 minutes of google and perusing physics/science trade magazines will net you a years worth of reading our, "leaders" and, "media" somehow miss.

Oh, by the way, Germany's phasing out their windmills (they were the first champion of them);  turns out the only thing they've accomplished was to raise electricity rates by 400% while not producing power.  Also heard (figure this is scuttlebutt for now) that there's already at least one abandoned windmill by pincher;  co. went bankrupt.  (again, no proof of this, figure it's rumour out of control until proved otherwise)

Meanwhile, read al gore bought a mansion on the beach in s. ca;  so much for believing in rising sea levels.  It's a con, people.  Meant only to part you from your money, property and freedom.  Feel free to call it tinfoil.  Read China's backing their new yuan with GOLD;  heard they won't take greenbacks for them as they're unsupported.  Interesting times ahead.

Unfortunately we will likely get them again in the next election because all the young people will once again be the majority that turn out to vote. All the older crowd just bitch about it, but when push comes to shove they don't come out to vote. I guess we get what we ask for, to bad.

The only way the commies get in again is if the vote is split like it was. Hopefully we can get the conservative parties to unite by next election but the only way that is going to happen is if the PC's have a drastic policy change.

Anyone get to take a peek at the new Carbon tax coming in January 1st?  It's bad enough that gas, diesel and propane are going up but look at natural gas.  $1.011/GJ.  At current natural gas prices the tax is more than the cost of gas itself.  This government is ridiculous.  Why they choose to keep kicking the economy down for the holy grail of "greener than you" while we remain such a small polluter in the big picture really is nothing more than a sick ideology.  I did not vote ndp last election (wildrose) but I tried for the first little bit to maintain a positive attitude about it.  I've succumb to the fact that the only ones still sticking up for the current regime are to proud to admit they made a mistake with the pencil.

I think she is more concern about live after Politics, just like Shinny Pony, they are trying to look good,( save the earth type thing), in the eyes of the UN so they get that cushy position in that life. The UN is big on a carbon tax, so they jump on board that program.

Guys, you are trying to rationalize the thought processes of the NDP and the Liberals.  I know us normal people try to understand things in a rational way.
It isn't possible to understand what is going on in the heads of a Notley or a Trudeau.  They are so far out of touch with reality, common sense, or any kind of real morals; it is just rampant idealism that makes them tick.  Even their idealism is based on false pretenses in many cases.  They are just nuts, that is all.

That natural gas carbon tax is a real slap in the face, isn't it.  More wood burning for me.  Take that, carbon tax mongers!

One more thing before I get at my day.

Look at the wording on this report. High Powered Sniper Rifle,, it's a browning lever for Pete's sake but they have to throw that evil twist in there don't they, morons.

I have one of those, I would show you guys the gun, but it is way to  complicated firearm for you laymen to understand. We long distance sniper type guys have years of training to operate the complex action. And the 6x scope is not something you see on many rifles. Why I even had a cop from Ontario tell me he has never seen anything like it.

Speaking of Brian Jean have any of you noticed the caption on his the sportsman Facebook that was up.  Says Brian Jean for a united Conservative party. Is that by his doing now or has someone just captioned a post like that I wonder.

Just been doing some looking on line and it looks like it is legit and he is all for a united party. Sure hope we can make this happen in 3 years. If you care lets get behind this thing kids.
