Once a week at least we try to get our family together and either play games, have a lesson on something or at least spend some time together. Tonight I thought it being remembrance day I would teach them a little about the world and why we have what we have. My oldest is 10 and the youngest is almost 3 with 2 in between them. It is hard to teach children about freedom but we had a good talk and I had spent some time preparing before hand and found a great video to show them to bring it to reality for them. I think they understood a lot and I am sure they will remember a few extra things in their prayers tonight.
I spent at least an hour or more on youtube tonight watching clips on Remembrance day. I will admit it was an emotional experience that I am grateful I had to remind me again of those that gave me what I have today.
