Usually some nice hatches in those parts right now. Stone Case caddis are starting to crawl out in addition to your usual chironomids doing their thing. Stick Caddis are starting to pop out. Wooly Bugger and Pheasant tail nymph are your first test choices subsuface in addition to the the usual dry flies.
Sort of weird how this fire has not made the main stream media. I wonder why.
