Usually some nice hatches in those parts right now.  Stone Case caddis are starting to crawl out in addition to your usual chironomids doing their thing. Stick Caddis are starting to pop out.  Wooly Bugger and Pheasant tail nymph are your first test choices subsuface in addition to the the usual dry flies.

Sort of weird how this fire has not made the main stream media. I wonder why.

It's strange because most people didn't experience the Fort Mac fire two years ago..I did and maybe I'm a pussy but being told to evacuate NOW is something you never forget.

Yes this fire has put me on edge but it looks like four days of rain coming up.

Things are pretty quiet in our part of the world, must be dying down now sonny haven't heard much on it.

Fire has been downgraded to "Being Held" and we have three days of rain coming so we got lucky.....this time.
