First Impression

Paul, I noticed that the Post time seems to be out by an hour.  Should be an easy fix.

Axeman its not the forum its the way you have your settings setup .

GO to profile  , click on it
go to Modify profile click it
go to Look and Layout CLick it
Now go down to where it says Time Format , and right below it says Time off set push in 1 . As were one hour behind .

Then youll see the right time of your posts .

Thats two of us . Its getting really old . Man we were catching some Nice walleye yesterday . They Flucked with us all day long , giving good solid bites enough to steal your bait , werent taking jig and grub , So worm , and minnows were workin , once we figured that out they were nailing it . I think 5 or 6 fish in about 10 minutes then died off then I had been there from noon until 10 last cast WHAM FISH ON , at least I didnt get skunked like JAY . Lol Had to rub that in there , because I know he will be reading this .

I like it and the best part of the forum is that they do not tolerate the rude, smart a$$, bashing comments!

Yeah yeah...what I was doing after I left was a little better than catching a couple walleye...just sayin!

Got a whack of goldeye today as well, just for a little variety.  Pretty sure there were walleye around as well (had the tails bitten off a few little rubber fish) but can't verify that one.

Definately prefer this forum, so far there hasn't been much bickering, and nobody has the holier than thou attitude that is so prevalent on AO. All the guy's on here seem to be able to add constructively to a conversation, instead of just bashing anyone they don't see eye to eye with. So far so good, but it'll be interesting to see what happens as this board grows.

My first impression of this forum .

Its great . Its quite friendly , there were a few small annoying issues at the beginning but that was taken care of . I guess that problem will always exist with the Internet . Other then that the forum is very easy to navigate , and some good Threads . Id say Its great and with time it will get better I hope . Not the opposite of another forum where it was awesome when it was smaller then it turned into a shit show .

Being someone who loves to share there stories and pictures , to get my story out there . And not be slammed like a two bit hooker over it is nice to .

Well this is my honest first impression, I hope Admin. will not think it "Rude".

I had heard there was a new forum where a lot of "refugees" from the AO site were gathering.  So I came here to see.

And it looked at first like some of the more "arrogant, hot-heads types" who had trouble getting along with other members and the admin on AO were here to mostly talk down AO.

But looking further into the forum I see some good stuff. 

I will continue using the AO forum and also come here to learn and contribute positively when I can.

And I'll try to avoid conflict with those I have seen in the past to be "hard to get on with".

Welcome to Alberta Sportsman deerman. Just to be perfectly clear, although it would be idealistic for some to feel this is a "dumping ground" for unwanted people, that simply isn't the case, and it's important to me that anyone propagating these sorts of innuendos come here for a visit. It is quite clear to me that what we have here is the seed for a real presence of people in Alberta that share common outdoor interests with the ability to discuss them openly without sponsorships and double standards dictating what's said. This is a "members first" community. We are not so arrogant or blind to recognize that without members there is no community here. Thanks for signing up and I hope this becomes a positive experience for you.
