Fisher on the road
« on: April 01, 2013, 01:18:31 PM »
On my way to visit a friend this morning, rounding the "Big Bay Corner"(a corner that Walleyes knows well), while following a couple of vehicles, a fisher scrambled across the road in front of a young lady driving a Jeep.  The lucky little bugger dam near got hit, while his wheels were spinning on the road.  I had my camera ready, but he was one hell of a lot quicker than my lens(300mm), before he disappeared into the bush by the Enbridge Field Lake compressors!!  I have seen more of these little buggers this winter than what I ever have in the near 30 yrs. up here.  Must have something to do with the rabbits & the "miggachaz" that are really goofy & very abundant right now.

A miggachaz is a red squirrel.
