Does anyone know someone who makes a game hoist to fit in the receiver hitch of a 1/2 ton truck. I was looking at the one on Cabelas website and thought it was priced a little high.
Thx!

Where you at?  I'm in SE AB.  Built one a few yrs ago an don't use it anymore.  Looks like the prefab but doesn't fold in half.  I'll sell it for substantially less than a new one if you're interested and close.   ;)

Bruce, I'm at the cabin in Sask right now but will be home for Christmas. Where abouts in S.E Ab are you? How about some pics and a little more info.
Thx!

My buddy builds them at the his hitch shop in edmonton , its rated for 1500 lbs .

Here it is put to work .

its welded made of 2 inch square tubeing . It could use a guset at the top but the top arm doesnt bend just leans down with the weight being pulled down in the hitch . Its the cats ass thats forsure makes life simple . Gutted a cow moose in about 10 minutes and a deer in about 5 .

BBJ, thats what I'm looking for. Right now I have a lead on one but if it falls through I'll let you know.

Are U still interested in going up to Davin after lakers in the spring, let me know ahead of time if you can make it. I want after them before they go deep. We were at Little Bear in early Sept and it was as hot as snot. The radar was black with them starting at 50' down, we tried everything and caught nothing. Managed to catch a few jacks up in the basins.
