« on: November 03, 2017, 03:07:52 PM »
Interest spike, no answer it seem's as to why. You guy's running your own business, go ahead and up your price like that. See if anyone darken's your door way. It's a funny game. :-\

That bloody Parkland Fuels owns half the bulk stations in the nation. They are getting a monopoly on the price of bulk fuels. Ours went up out here from .74 this summer to .945 this week. When you burn 50,000L a week that's a big hit. Suckers posted a 96 mill profit for the 3rd quarter. Don't tell me there's no money in bulk fuel sales.

That's nut's, imagine doing the budget for your family of 4 or 5 for the month, then the price goes up like that. What do you adjust (again) to cover that.

Can't imagine the guys at work who run their own truck will be to happy if this is sustained.  Wonder if the days of fuel surcharges will return.  I'd imagine contractors would be a little reluctant to charge it though as tight as everything's been the last couple years.

I hear it's a refinery maintenance deal down south this time, but who knows. It could be an oil baron got up one more and decided it was time to screw with the working folk's lives again. >:( :'(

Price of oil goes up fuels go up the next day. Price of oil goes down, price of fuels don't go down for months. It's criminal it really is. They say the price doesn't go down for a while because the refineries bought the oil at the previous higher price. Ok how about when the price goes up, they bought all that oil at the previous lower price. Bloody crooks.
And why always just before a weekend especially a long weekend, always !!

People should go to jail over crap like this it's criminal government should be asking hard questions when stuff like this happens. Make the refiners prove they need to suddenly inflate the prices.

Because the Goverment gets a big chunk of the revenue from the sales of fuel through taxation. The higher the price of fuel the bigger their take. Now add on the Carbon tax which will be charged to industry which they won't pay just pass it on to the consumer. Tax, tax, tax and the current government is coming up with more ways to tax on top of that. Have to get more from the cheating middle class. Have to pay for those poor mistreated terrorists some how. Now we have another one suing us for 50 mill this time.
