What a beast,, good for him.

This is one of my favorite stories, I love how the guy was just out meat hunting and shot the beast and never gave much thought to its size with an old .303 British if I remember right..

Not some propped up celebrity hunter or rich guy that had someone fly around with a plane for a week and spot out a big one for him,, then ride in and shoot it and take the claim as a great hunter,, way to much of that going on this day and age.. To me this is a true hunting story.

That sound much like the story of the fellow who shot the world record non-typical mule deer near Chip lake Alberta.  Out for the meat and got the biggest set of antlers to this day.

Come to think of it Milo Hanson was not a big celebrity just a Sask. farmer before he killed the biggest typical whitetail to date.

They say the truck he used to run it down with is still parked behind his buddies garage,, I guess the fences they ran through while Milo had the gun out the window did a number on it..
