Remember a year like this in the early 80's.  Was flying skydivers out of Claresholm and we went right up until after Christmas before the temp dropped and winter hit.

Suns gone through it's cycle of high numbers of solar flares and is entering solar minimum.  Actual scientists are expecting what they call a mini ice age for a decade or two as the sun goes through it's more dormant cycle, so enjoy the indian summer we have this year.

(To any lefties reading this, Yes, the sun affects earths climate.  Look it up)

I was listening to an old fellow on BNN a couple weeks back, an old investing tycoon, he sees the irregulars in things that most people miss uses these as his investing guide, smart old bugger. He started telling the young analysts on the show about the topic you bring up Bruce, their jaws dropped they couldn't believe someone had the golls to say the earth will be cooling. They sort of laughed him off. But he told them he has people working on it and has scientists that have studied it and it's true. They giggled at him and moved on. The guy predicted this whole global warming phase will be over by 2025 I think it was. They will be scrambiling for gas, oil and coal.

Just ask Leo DeCaprio when he was in Kananaskis and the movie "The Revenance" was being filmed.  A chinook came through in January while they were filming, the snow buggered off, and in his blissful ignorance and absolute stupidity, he made the comment on national television in the US, that he personally felt global warming happening.  What an absolute idiot!!  Trudeau's CBC ate the crap, and fed it back to the unicorn population that idolize the CBC.

Well that would explain way the movie was so bad, the idiot they had as the star. I think they should have put some bait out and used a real grizzly, then the world would have one less Mr Hollyweird. Boy do I miss John Wayne and Clint Eastwood.

I agree with this article!... No sorry, did't get past: New environment movement. I can't read another word regarding the environment. We should change the word 'environment to MONKEY. There is a New MONKEY movement under way to eat more bananas, save MONKEYville, and grow more rubber trees so we have more pucks to play MONKEY hockey. See, don't take to much to fill peoples heads with a bunch of garbage. Now if I could get that naked weather channel, it may spark my interest in the, MONKEY, I mean the enviro movement again.

Before the O&G industry gets its panties in a knot about 'environmentalists' pushing agendas, maybe they can start in their own back yard stop sloughing off abandoned oil wells on the taxpayer to clean up. It might get them a bit more credibility. Yeah, I know all about the Orphan Well Fund. I also know that they only cleaned up cleaned up 185 wells last year, and at the end of the year had 63 more orphaned wells than they started with.

If the fund was properly funded by the O&G industry in the first place, then maybe this would not be an issue. But can you imagine the screaming if they had to contribute more?

Why should the severely normal Alberta taxpayer have to pick up the pieces? We didn't create this mess, but we have to live with it.

I work in the drilling industry and fully agree with you in the orphan well thing avb3. Whom ever buys these wells should responsible for their closer. In no way should the tax payer be responsible for them. But it's not the oil companies whining about orphaned wells, they leave them in their inventory just in case some day there is technology to make some of them producers again as well they are still an asset that can be sold. In some cases land owners don't want them cleaned up either as they still receive payment for these wells as long as the well head remains on their land when it's removed the payments stop.

But what that has to do with global warming and enviro idiots I have no idea. Just had to get in a shot I guess hey lol.
