It's sad that he died at such a young age (53) but..

I really can't think of one song of his that rings a bell.. ???

Anyway RIP Gord. :(

Wasn't nice a huge fan of the band but didn't mind a couple of their songs. Like you say, too young.

Liked their music, a fan but never seen them live. I'm sad to see the music stop due to the singers death and one could say he was a true Canadian Icon. Too young yup, but we all know people who have gone too young. Thanks for the music Gord.

Don't know his music, I am glad he had a good life doing what he loved, as everyone should have. Not being insensitive, but any of us over 50 has had more life then the young that are taken sooner. RIP.

Notice how Shiny Pony used this man's  death to get a picture with him into the media. Complete with alligator tears. A liberal has no bottom so low to where he will stoop. What a joke.  Dancing on the guys coffin to make political points and the sheep eat it all up.

I agree, that wasn't heart felt at all and well over done.  There is such a thing as trying to hard and he nailed it.

I did like the Tragically hip though, "Wheat Kings" and "Courage" a couple of favourites of mine.  Would have loved to see them live.  When they did their last concert I put it up on the speaker system and really enjoyed it, heck of a performance from a man in his situation.

Yep, the shinny pony sold tickets to the show, and every sheepeople bought them up. He's on his way to a second term. We have become a "Left" country. The young and the new have decided, and in a few years those two groups will out number the rest. (still with respect to the man that past)
