Gun Registry !!

I have a bit of an issue with a business here in town and just wondering what constitutes a gun registry.

I was interested in picking up a little 45-70 lever today at the C.T. Here in Cold Lake. So the guy comes over and pulls out the gun and hands it to me,, it has the mother of all locks on it and I ask where are keys for the lock,, he says they are in the box which he will give me once we do the paper work.. So I ask what paper work. He says I just have to take some personnel information !! I am like no you won't I showed you my PAL that's all you need,, he's like oh no the RCMP told us to take info on all guns we sell. So needless to say I put the gun down and walked out. But here's the thing,, I don't want to leave it at that, I want to know what type of info they are taking. Tomorrow I plan on going back in there and speaking to a manager and just see what type of info they are taking and under who's authority..

So my question is where do I turn after that if they are taking personnel info on gun sales and if it is the RCMP asking then what should a guy do or where should a guy look for help on this issue..

Stupid store , with stupid policies. The CT in swift wouldn't sell us clay pigeons with out a pal, and the pimple faced geek had to carry them to the front for us. Lol. I'm like hey buddy these aren't shells, you handle them like a box of claymores.  Sorry sir store policy,  me well your policy sucks.
Print off a copy of non restricted fire arms sales and walk in with it, the RCMP only have authority to enforce laws actually on the books , not the ones they feel shod be on the books.

Ding ding ding;  we have a winner.  Some very dangerous things have been going on, far beyond any mandate or legal position.  Some quiet as the media doesn't recognize the danger and some like the cfo's borderline sedition and high river break, enter, and attempted theft not so quiet(only because of sun news)
 
Letting such affronts slide will not end well.  It's beginning to appear as there's a genuine reach for undeserved power happening.  Call tinfoil all you want.  Read a history book first.  This has happened many, many times before in exactly the same manner.  Just not here;  till now.

The Conservative convention is coming up in Calgary.  Freedom and democracy only exist when free people participate.  There is only one alternative ending to participation, and it's not good.
