Yes happy New year to everyone. Do any of you have traditions you follow for the New Year.  My old Scottish dad would always open the door at midnight to let the New Year in.  That is something I like to do also.
Back in the sixties in the pass most of the old soldiers and hunters would bang off a few rounds from their favorite firearm at midnght.  I shudder to think what would happen if I took the 7mm out tonight in Calgary and banged off a few rounds.

Happy New Year everyone , hope 2017 is a great year. So many people said that 2016 was not a good year and I agree.

Happy New Year all, here's to another great year.

As much as we may have not felt as though 2016 was a good year we are still so very blessed in this country and regardless of how bad our feelings may be hurt we should be thankful and greatfull.

I hope 2017 is another blessed year for all.

My new years resolutions:
  • Burn even more wood in my wood stove.  Already stocked up.  Forced by new carbon tax.
  • Burn more coal at the farm.  Again stocked up.  Forced by new carbon tax.
  • Hide more jobs from Notley and Trudeau in the underground economy.  Barter when possible.
  • Stock up on even more bullets and guns.
  • Build that liquor still that I have been planning for a while now.
  • Be truly "green" by planting even a bigger garden and eating fish and game more.  Eliminates retail waste, transport, and packaging.
  • Challenge and correct hypocrite greeny's and liberals at every occasion.  Avoid supporting them in any form.
  • Support Albertans at every turn and boycott the east when possible.  They gave us Trudeau.
  • Get drawn this year for a moose tag.
  • Stay healthy.

Didn't make any AxeMan, but I like all of yours  so I'll do the same. Maybe get a movement going and get rid of the two worst humans to ever enter politics. ( I boycotted the east years ago).
