Hey guys, just joined up. I know some of you from A/O and some I haven't met yet.
A bit of a run down on who I am am.
A proud husband and Dad of 2 great Kids. My daughter (12) is hard core into the stage thing with her last performance at Stage West here in Calgary. She is taking a run at a Theater Calgary thing next. My son is 10 years old and a heck of a Goalie. Not a bunch of technique but all his flopping around is fun to watch. I love coaching hockey but with my Son now playing at the higher levels it's tough to find a spot on a coaching team.
I have been Hunting Alberta for the past 28 years or so. I never get tired of it and finding new places to explore.
I have been fortunate enough to hunt Alaska (2 times) for Brown Bear, NWT for Caribou and Wyoming for Antelope.
Soon I hope to hunt Argentina for free range Red stag on horse back.
I own the worlds best trained and most under utilised Yellow Lab.
I used to love shooting trap, but life got in the way.
I shoot a 270WSM in a Sako hunter.. And I love it.
We own Great Pacific Salmon Lodge and Salmon fishing is my one true love in the Outdoors.
I have been fortunate enough to have fished most every legendary Salmon hole from Rivers Inlet to Sitka Alaska. Most places I have been to more than a few times. And to think this all started with a so called "Once in a life time" trip to Langara Island... Who knew....
Anyhow, like I said, great to see some of you again.
