Hello from Michigan
« on: December 10, 2011, 02:58:06 PM »
Just wanted to say hi to all on this site. I'm coming to Alberta for the first time in May of 12' to bear hunt and really looking forward to it. It's been my life's dream to try to take a color phase bear and I'll be trying to get it done one more time this spring. Best wishes to all and Merry Christmas as well. Thanks ... I feel pretty good about the outfitter I'm going with.

I've been looking at a lot of Alberta sites lately. You guys live in an absolutely beautiful place! I am really looking forward to going!

Welcome to the board Ibow.. Hope you have a good hunt this spring.

I think you are going to have a great time. Bear numbers seem to be pretty high through out the province. They were like gophers out on my land last summer and fall,, getting to be a real nuisance.. I am sure you will find the one you are looking for.

Welcome Chuck.  I hope you have a good hunt.  Hopefully the outfitter didn't get his area burnt up where he hunts.  I know a few of them had problems last year with the fire but I am sure that you will be fine and it might help with all of the new grass growth and attract a few into the area.  I imagine it is all spot and stalk as well.  Lots of bears in that area.  Post a few pics when you get your bear.

Bring your rubber boots.  You will learn to love the mud.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?
