Hey all, My name is Melissa, and just like everyone else on here I LOVE THE OUTDOORS!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been hunting for 12 years now with my husband and the last 11 years we have always taken the boys with us when ever we are in the outdoors. I enjoy every minute of it, and now our boys are die hard into the whole hunting, fishing, and everything outdoors LOL.

Bout time ya showed up

I am blessed you all are into the outdoors but it was pretty depressing to be told one of my deer heads on the wall is getting replaced

If them two little guides dont put me on a big one this year instead of you they are grounded

.

That deer in your profile pic looks pretty big, you need to start giving Darcy some pointers before this whitetail season rolls around lol

BAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! You can keep your deer on the wall hun.......but once mine goes up Im sure you will move them to the other side of the room

Good to see you on here Melissa. I have to vouch for the boys. Man they are mature for their age and know a lot more about the OUTDOORS and HUNT'N than a lot of grown adults. Probably play guitar pretty darn good to.

I thought i shot a big Deer last year until Darcy had to show me the Big Whitey Rack you got.
Hey no quarelling over wall space you two, you can always use the Shop.

Hi Mrs Sheepguide!

Your buck from last year is in a word, incredible. Perhaps you wouldn't mind sharing a photo of it for all of those who have not seen it yet. The fact that you could take him near home, with your two little guides by your side, really makes your 2010 buck story one that folks should hear!

Well here is the story of my deer.

We had seen him a few times through the summer. My husband took pics of him a week or so before the season so we were pretty pumped to get to hunt there.
It would only be the second season being able to hunt the land after the elderly man that owns it graciously lets us hunt there now.
Anyways we only seen him at night so my husband and I planned on skipping hunting him on opening morning and go for the night hunt.
That night when we got to the field another truck came driving out. Our hearts sank but we still gave it a try. That night the wind was unreal and very few animals were moving. Trees blew down all around us and was a little scary.
At dark we left with only seeing a couple does.

The next morning my husband had to leave for work at 5am so I didnt hunt in the morning. Thoughts of that buck still were with me and my husband talked me into talking our two boys which were 8 and 10 at the time with me and going back down and sitting to see if the big guy would come out. We sat there for quite a while and were actually getting close to dark so we started to pack up our stuff to leave when one of the boys said that he saw deer.
Well sure enough there they were, the big guy and the other buck he hung with.
I put my 7mm-08 on a fence post and the rest of the story is in the pictures.

Id like to thank MountainTi for caping my deer out and Jack Dezell for officially scoring him for me.
