Highway 63?

Hey guys, anyone up to date on what hwy 63's like now?  Wife and I haven't been N of Wandering river for about 5 years now, last time we were there talk was of twinning, the traffic was likely more dense than on hwy 1 and Marianna lake was just getting shut down that fall(or so we heard).

Have they actually begun twinning it?  Still easy access when you want to get off of it?

Last time I was there the H river fire area was about knee to waist high with regrowth.

last time i was up was late last fall...  what a job that is .... there is alot of iron building that road... but they had a third of the highway to final grade and ready for pave... then they had a good stretch that was almost to grade and another stretch they were filling still... they must have alot more done by now id think... sonny drives up there regularly im sure he could give you more accurate info

Thanks, we were debating heading back to 512 as we know (knew?) it pretty well, but even the last time we were there 63 was so busy it was nuts trying to get on/off it and turning left was an adventure in itself.

The twining of hwy 63 started about 6.5 years ago and so far only 16 km have been twinned between Fort Mac and the Atmore (55) corner.There is another 33 km that is ready to be paved this fall north of Wandering river.
At this rate the entire 248 km from Fort Mac to hwy 55 will be done in another 28 years.(unfriggin believeable)

In the mean time innocent people will die on this highway of death.
