Hockey Playoffs .....do you care !
« on: April 16, 2016, 07:43:39 AM »

From a quality of play perspective , I don't think Canadienne teams are missed .
They would all first round fodder . So far a couple of dandy games , the hits
Are fantastic .....I say Washington in the End but there could be a couple of
  Spoilers like Tampa .
I'm posting this here cause I notice , hockey threads are being locked down
In Hell . Someone must have mentioned Rachel looks like she's taking a cross
Check to the face in most of her pics .

I am not a big hockey fan to begin with so for me on a year like this where we have no Canadian teams in it I am not all that interested. It's to bad,,I used to like the game but it's just not the same game we all grew up with.

Funny how us older guys that where hockey guys in our youth lost all interest. I wouldn't turn a game on now and waste my time. Have we changed or the game? Maybe it's because the Canadian has gone out of it. Bateman I think did that.

Yeah I dunno when I was a teenager I grew up watching the oilers in their heyday it was easy to like hockey. The game has changed, all the neutral zone defensive play makes it boring.  Game isn't the same. Lost interest in my early 20's if I watch anything it's baseball.

When I was younger I would not have considered watching curling.  But now for some strange reason I waste a lot of time watching that sport. It is like watching golf. Some guys can spend all day watching golf but I can't spend 5 minutes.

I'm that way with baseball , and never watched it  growing up. Maybe as we age its the slower pace, and the game within the game that interest us? Kind of like the patients we have when hunting and fishing, that's why I think it takes years to be good at it, and appreciate for what it is.
