I'm Chris, I run a small outfitting company in the Slave Lake area (and yes, I am THAT Chris lol). Contrary to popular belief over at that other ridiculous site, we run a very above board, legit and successful operation.

Not looking to rehash all the old bs and crap from the past, looking forward to being part of a better board and sharing some pictures and stuff from bear season

A few of us on here know who Chris is from past history and yes He does have a reputation but,, until he starts his buisness here I see no need to bring up past history. If all he wants to do is contribute in a meaningfull way with stories and pics lets just let it be. This isn't Facebook keep the drama there.

Darcy is right as of late ISB has contributed very little to this board other than hostilities. He recently came on here openly knocking the site and us members calling it the Jerry Springer show,, well Jerry once again you look the fool. It has been so peacefull here the last few days a real treat, but some can't stand it. Unless there is an argument happening they have nothing to say.

ISB,, play nice or move on, you have a lot to offer a forum such as this why not try instead of just stirring the pot. We just got rid of one pain in the ass and along comes another.

The past is the past and I am not interested in dragging it all up again.  What I am interested in is being a member of a decent board and sharing some pictures and stories from our Bear Camp with those interested in seeing and reading them. I will not get drug into petty arguments about things that happened in the past with people that have no idea what really happened anyway.

Our first hunters arrive tomorrow, as of late we have very slow baits out there There is still a TON of snow in the bush and as I type this its -11 and snowing again. The forecast is calling for more suitable bear huntin weather starting Thursday.

We have 2 photographers hired to spend 3 days each in our camp this year so we should have a whole buncha great pictures to share in May! Watch for our episode of The Hunting Chronicles airing soon on WildTV too!

And yeah, past is past. Too bad humans couldn't be more like animals and live in the present. We could really learn so much from animals if we only would open our eyes, turn off our ego, and stay focused in the present.

Pretty sure all of us have "a past"....sorry you had to deal with the negativity as soon as you got here. We're working real hard on keeping this a fun, happy, and collective place to post

Could care less. He hasn't stepped on my toes or the toes of AS. I can't see why we can't give him a chance!! Not every one is as perfect as guys like Bambi. Maybe he has turned over a new leaf! Maybe he has see tnr error in his ways and has lots to offer this site. Leave what happens on other sites on other sites!!!!

LoL cool! Some changes in the guys running Maximus and some good stuff coming. Hope we can get the show tightened up moving forward out of the first part of a year on air.
