Darcy is right as of late ISB has contributed very little to this board other than hostilities. He recently came on here openly knocking the site and us members calling it the Jerry Springer show,, well Jerry once again you look the fool.

terry, over the years your post history has shown you to be a relatively intelligent guy with a passion for the outdoors and a low tolerance for slugs.  calling me jerry is the equivalent of "i know you are but what am i".  if you are going to try to insult me, i know you can come up with something better than that.  of course if you understood what i said you might calm down and skip the insult as what i said wasnt even directed at you.  a friend pointed out to me that when someone posts a fishing or hunting picture in a thread, the most activity is about half a dozen "hey nice trophy" kind of comments, but when a fight breaks out it can run 5 pages easy.  he mentioned this place is like the jerry springer show as the management here seems to encourage it.  i laughed because its true.  hell, ive even been encouraged by the boss to tear a strip off someone that was attacking me.  i denied for the same reason i always have.  i dont care what the owners here want to happen, if this place is going to survive it will need to grow in membership which increases views which attracts sponsorship.  currently, with all the BS this place sees so much of, i know i wouldnt want my business represented in this way.  i also said from day one that i hope this forum does grow and prosper and that holds true today.  if a couple particularly loud guys cant see that they are doing more harm than good here, well....some guys will never get it.

a few will disagree with that, but think for a minute how many of the real good solid contributing members from other places paid a visit here but have since left.  the number one reason is too much arguing from the same couple of names.  likely the most respected one is catnthehat who fit that description perfectly.  i could name a bunch more with a few examples of the threads that blew it, but we already know what im talking about.

again specifically terry....every time someone complains about a stolen treestand or trailcam you are among the first to loudly proclaim how much you hate thieves.  aagin, i could quote you many times, but again you know what i mean.  im with you on that, and thats exactly what chris gerritse is.  he promised several people treestands, bear bait cages and bear bait itself.  he took money and didnt deliver anything.  that is not rumor of hearsay....its right there in the thread i posted.  do you think maybe you saw my name and got mad looking for something to argue about without really paying attention to it?  i suspect if someone else posted the same thing you would have reacted a little different.  the guy is an admitted thief.

i dont see what the time has to do with it.  if he stole a chocolate bar as a small child and grew up into a better person thats different.  he stole from people as an adult.  i dont care if he stopped, he did it, promised publicly to pay a guy back and still hasnt to this day.  i guarantee if he stole from you your view would be different.  is it because he stole from rich mellon that its ok?  you hav emade it clear you cant stand him, but what about the dozens of others?  honestly paul, that post has made me lose respect for you.  i am stunned that you would defend a known thief in any way shape or form.  thats a horrible presentation of this forum.

and chris, to you in general...i said in in the first post and ill repeat it now.  i sincerely dont care that you are here.  i hope you dont spew the silly fairy tales about little peepees and black duellys, and native moose poaching and whatever else your little brain comes up with.  in all honesty, you probably could be a contributing member here.  you have had 15 plus names at another forum, but i havent seen you actually do anything to be booted other than who you are.  the first one was for stealing right?  after t6hat i never saw you break forum rules.  i dont think fairytales are a violation anyway....

i can see that deep down you are a guy quite passionate about fishing, hunting and the outdoors in general.  if you could cut the bullshit and make right the wrongs you did, you may be able to save some the credibility with the general public.  you have foun one fan here, but most dont respect him any more than you.  many consider that person a laughing stock.  a good start would be to pay back the person you vowed publicly that you would.  why havent you given rich back what you stole from him like you said you would in the thread i quoted?

Thanks for the support fellas, this guy is one of a few that have blown one minor incident several years ago way out of proportion. I said right from the get go that I am not looking to rehash old crap from the past. We have lots of pictures & stories to offer every spring and fall and we enjoy sharing them with fellow hunters. Thats the last I am going to say on the subject. If the rest of them choose to keep it up thats their problem. My life is pleasant

Aaaaanyway, with that out of the way, our first group of 2013 is currently en route. We start hunting tomorrow night. I will start a thread in the appropriate forum and keep yall in the loop on how things progress

And yeah, past is past. Too bad humans couldn't be more like animals and live in the present. We could really learn so much from animals if we only would open our eyes, turn off our ego, and stay focused in the present.

Pretty sure all of us have "a past"....sorry you had to deal with the negativity as soon as you got here. We're working real hard on keeping this a fun, happy, and collective place to post

Just a new venue for chris to screw over our fellow outdoors men/women, if chris truly wanted to forget the past he would pay back what he owes!!!! period! he hasn't!
he has been banned from every forum he has ever been on, it's only a mater of time before he repeats it here.

I speak from experience, I was conned and I know of at least two others that have been screwed over  by Chris.... like all predators... he's  Just looking for new prey.

X2 and if guys were banished for faults and miss steps we would be all gone!!! No one is perfect and no one is defending anyone but maybe yo7 perfect people should let history take its course and expose wrong doings here or shut your yaps and let him roll over a new leaf!!
