A hunting trip took a tragic turn Friday when a 63-year-old Prince Albert man accidentally shot and killed his 36-year-old son.
The two were hunting near Porcupine Plain when the accident happened, at about 6:30 p.m. The father immediately ran back to their camp and called from help through On Star. RCMP, EMS and the coroner had to travel by ATV to get to the isolated spot.
RCMP say they are investigating the tragic incident.

I feel for the guy to W.E. WTS, both these guys should have been well seasoned hunters if they were out in the bush every year. It's hard to imagine when this went horrible wrong and what the circumstances were. I know when I go into the restaurant in Porcupine Plain for my coffee's I will be listening to the locals for a update.
