But there in lies the problem with all these things Paul. It seldom goes to the ones that "need it" does it. It is almost always abused by those that know how to work the system and the ones that need it are overlooked and swept to the side once again. You and I have watched this happen our entire lives Paul we could fill a couple pages of posts with the abusers couldn't we ? This is the problem I have with anything do do with these issues we have witnessed to much abuse over the years.

I am sure you are right Paul I highly doubt any of your family will take advantage of it but with that said I highly doubt they cared either. They are too busy being out there and making a go of things like the rest of us to care. It's the ones with time on their hands and looking for something for nothing that and more hand outs and more money and more programs and more rights those are the ones that were after this and they in turn are usually the abusers to begin with.

If it's of no monetary gain then what's the point. Why is recognition from the government important to someone. Is it not enough to know who you are, why is it significant in any way to be labeled as something. I am of Romanian decent I don't need a letter from the government saying that I am to make it so. You know and I know this is going to open a big can of worms over the coming years by those looking for more hand outs.

  We had a guy that use to hunt with us before his wife got here card. He is a full white Canadian, she is a Blonde hair blue eyed white girl. So tell me how that worked? The reason he doesn't hunt with us is because he said he would just bring his  sq..... with him, he did not need tags and he could hunt anytime. Well that's not really true, and there is no way we wanted to be in that camp and lose everything when the fish cops showed up.  So we stop asking him, to come. That's  abuse and there not even a hint of FN in these people. I believe that in today's world it should be a equally playing field for all, not just with hunting. If my great grand pappy did something to pi$$ people off or steal their land, what's that got to do with me and why am I still paying for it. Respect is earned not given.
