bullsheet he didnt kill anyone. he never got what he deserved for it, but he sure as hell did kill a teenage girl. i think he was kind of a turd as a cult leader too, but if them folks were dumb enough to worship the clown, thats their own problem. you think it didnt effect anyone? i was on a couple of fracs very near hythe, and i can tell you for sure there was always someone assigned to keep an eye on the access road while we were working. no BS, i was on wiebo watch once.

I actually was in EMT school with one of the cousins of the girl he was thought to have killed but never proven. It was sad to hear his side of the story. That gal did not deserve to loose her life for what she was doing. All I can say is he was an interesting fellow

well ill start by saying this... i agree with you guys fully on the bombing and sabotage that he did... that was way out of line and that is not how you conduct business in this day and age... people could have been hurt or killed because of that. alot of time, money and property was also lost.

but do you guys know why that truck was shot at that night? its unfortunate that the girl died and i feel for her parents family and freinds but a bunch of kids joyriding drive right through the front yard spin 2 donuts with exhaust pipes rapping... there was 6 kids sleeping in tents less than a meter from where the ass end of that truck spun around... i tell ya what ... come spin some donuts in my front yard when my son is sleeping in a tent and ill empty my 12 gauge into the side of your truck.

all i can say is walk a mile in someone elses shoes b4 your so quick to condemn. i also say watch a movie called weibos war and youll get perspectives from both sides. maybe then you can make an informed decision on who and what was the bad guy

and this is where everyone starts to hate me LOL ... i could care less the guy is dead but he had some reason for what he did... idk

I agree with meat on the whole incident with the girl.

First off they shouldn't have been on his property. Secondly, if its true, they almost ran over the kids in the tent. And thirdly how could he know who was in the truck? So yeah its unfortunate and its sad, but he was in his right.

That being said still a POS in my opinion.

I know a few farmers that would empty a rifle at a vehicle spinning donuts in their front yard or fields or around their livestock. The guy has the right to protect himself, family, and lively hood and yes it is sad but if i was in his shoes would have done the same. As far as the bombing goes well thats obviously not called for but i see why he did it. Oilfield companies did not care who they hurt or what kind of impact they had on the environment back in the day they were just chasing the $$$$$$.

i agree.... had it not been for the bombings he was actually a respectable man... he moved away from society with his family and totally went off the grid... lived off the land and beleived in god... there was no cult... it was 2 families of very indept christians... there were some stillborn kids and livestock, you could hold a match to his kitchen sink and it would burn blue for hours... i can see why he sabotaged alot of shit but like i said b4 its not what you do to get results... im glad noone was hurt but i really do wish people would take a step back and look at both sides b4 they cast judgement

Before he started the bombings, I believe the man took every reasonable effort possible to solve the problem but received no results. I read an article somtime ago that said he wrote various letters to the oil companies stating his concerns and lobbied local politicians, still nothing was done so he took matters in his own hands.
Yes, other people could have got hurt in the crossfire but I don't think this guy would conciously go out and try to harm someone. ( Maybe the odd oil CEO if he could have gotten hold of them! lol

yeah... on that documentary weibos war it shows a whole binder full of copys of all the letters he sent to oil companies to come check out the H2s levels around his house... and in his water well... it was a thick stack and not a single response
