It’s a couple things. One being that’s generally where the union jobs are held, it’s where most of the immigrants move to and live. When you think about it not all but a lot of people that live in the cities do so because they feel more comfortable with other people around them. They need the collective to survive and feel comfortable. They are not independent people nor independent thinkers, which is what Socialism is right, it’s the collective, it’s the let’s do this together thinking. Rural people are independent people and generally want to be left alone.

When I drive around I take notice to the type private places that have up the commie signs. First and foremost all the reserves of course boast NDP, more free stuff, but take notice of the homes that boast NDP in rural areas. They are generally the run down, messy yards. The people that are too lazy to do anything by themselves or for themselves in the first place. Real stereotypical socialist types, I get a real laugh out of that.

Your last bit is so true about run down, messy yards. That's a dead giveaway about why they would support the NDP. Too lazy to do anything for themselves all they want are free handouts. It's about like why nothead tried to change the voting age to 16. It's called brainwashing!

I voted today in an advanced poll.  At work, very convenient.
One more nail in Notley's coffin.  I did my part.  :)

Notley is in the papers yamerring on about how the TMP will be approved by the end of May, grasping at straws no doubt. The stupid thing is the damn thing was approved a year ago, get the fricken thing built is what we want, screw getting it approved.

So stupid.

Snuck out and voted today. Took longer to park and walk in than vote so I picked a great time to go. Man I hope this city goes blue. Would love to see our orange rep be gone. Signs are almost 50/50 now in my hood but the dipper has the most. The web page posted shows the dipper will win. Hope its wrong.

If I were Kenney, I would have a very simple campaign.  I would simply talk about debt.  That in itself should be enough to sink the NDP.

Watch the Alberta debt clock for a few minutes and let that sink in, especially your share.
http://www.debtclock.ca/provincial-debtclocks/alberta/

Might as well add in your share of the Federal debt too because you owe that as well.  Got enough in your chequing account to pay up?
http://www.debtclock.ca/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwtMvlBRDmARIsAEoQ8zTc2lKQjNGVo2HmFo1WSsO5i0hshwnkDZ9cv3Wc3BlQGXdVZyTX_fQaAlvSEALw_wcB

Note the rate at which your share of the Alberta debt is increasing as compared to your Federal share.  Is the NDP spending plan an option?  I would love to see the debt called in by the creditors and see what the reaction of the commie people would be.  Actually, they wouldn't care because most of them don't have a pot to piss in and are up to their eyeballs in personal debt as well.

Oh btw, this doesn't include the debt of our crumbling infrastructure debt (highways...etc)

I think politicians should be held more accountable.  If they over spend or over borrow then their should be consequences.
Case in point Alberta knew it had a cash flow problem but Shannon our wonderful environment minister was able to spend money like it never had to be paid back.
The water pipeline is one waste as they could just as easily have used water in the Castle basin.

Artie:

I hope Shannon gets dumped in Lethbridge tonight.

Tell us more about this water pipeline. What the heck is going on in the Castle drainage?

They ran a water pipeline from near Cowley on the Old Man River all the way back to the Castle Ski Hill.  They could have done like the Crowsnest Pass and put in some large water wells.  There is lots of water in the Castle drainage.

My only concern with this whole election is how big of a majority will the UCP win by. For myself we can’t pound the commies into submission hard enough.

My only concern with this whole election is how big of a majority will the UCP win by. For myself we can’t pound the commies into submission hard enough.

44 seats is the magic number for majority government.  UCP projected to get upwards of 60 seats according to the polls.
As long as they get a majority then they can dictate to the NDP and make them completely irrelevant again.
I would like to see Redmonton get some payback for their commie support.  I would say if they want anything provincially they should be told to go ask Rachel and that should include their local commie Iveson.

Many people would hate me for saying this but I will.
I would tax the shit out of the media.  Their news has been become an opinion piece at best that is completely lefty.  They obviously have too much liberal funds to do this.
Tax those dollars away from them, need to balance the budget anyway.... ;)
