Just checking in.

Hey everyone just thought I would drop in and say hello and let everyone know I am still alive and that I haven't forgot about everyone. I have been spending some time up on my land up in Cold Lake and getting in some fishing when the weather permits. Been nailing the Lakers pretty steady with some real nice fish boated. Lots in the 8 - 10 pound range and one 13 pounder boated. I am just sitting by the fire enjoying a hot tea planning what to do tomorrow, fix the gate or go find some big eyes hmmm think I will go for eyes in the morning and fix fence in the afternoon. I can here one of the neighbors down the road about a mile sighting in a gun,,, I think we will get along just fine.   Hey if anyone finds themselves in the area and want to get out for some lakers I will be out here for a couple more days you are welcome to come along.

I was wondering where you went to.  Sounds like things couldn't be better!  Cant wait to see some laker pics, and hopefully a big walleye or two.

You doin the good life Walleyes, if I wasn't in the next province I'd be up there in a flash to help ya reel in some of them big lakers.

I sure our trip up north will happen in Sept, may not have the party we intended on having but if their's only 2 of us, so be it.

Hey guys just got back today..

The fishing was great with lots of trout landed.. I was out on the lake for 4 trips of about 6 hr trips and honestly I would guess we boated well over 40 trout over the period. The last 2 days I was alone and only fished one rod so it is hard to cover the depth but on Monday it was hard to keep up,,, no sooner I would get my gear set it would go off. I went through a pack of Anchovies in just over an hr and just one miss,, it was great.

Still the biggest for the trip was the 13 pounder last week. No 30 pounder yet but its in there I know it.. I only tried for Walleye twice for a short period and wasn't able to locate them,, got a few decent Pike but no eyes.. I will find them it will just take me a bit..

And a big apology guys no camera,, I know its not like me to forget it but it happened I forgot it at home.. Sorry boys next time it will be with me..
