The kids got me one for Christmas a few years back. They are a good knife but a bit big. I use it kind of like a small axe, I carry it in my pack when I snowshoe and in my big saddle bag when I do a few overnight trips on my horse. When people see it they think it's a special order one of a kind thing, I think they are disappointed when I tell them it a Cabela's off the shelf item.
