No he was not banned because of his Karma..........he was banned for being a jerk.
Just get rid of Karma altogether. We are smart enough who jerks are.

The whole karma thing is silly.
On another forum there was blatant abuse of it (this just a couple weeks ago), people were taking out personal grudges and getting others banned and the admins had to remove the feature altogether.
Remove karma.
